Alright guys....

Here's the deal. I totally slacked off this whole summer on the blogging bit... I know. I'm sorry. I'm going off to college in exactly one week so I assume that I will start posting some new stuff finally. Way too much has happened over the summer to describe on a blog. So, if you know me, ask me if you want to hear. If not, get to know me. Thats all for now gents and ladies.

Race results

Hey all, yesterday was the very first Washington Highschool mountain bike race! There was a super turnout with plenty of riders from all over racing and having fun. Im definitely stoked that I was able to take part in the beginning of something that is only going to grow with time. The race was held at Fort Steilacoom park and the track was a 4mile loop with a few major climbs and two decent descents. And the last mile was across open fields which made it a leg sapper :P Anyway I raced in the boys varsity league (which meant we rode 4 laps equaling 16 miles) and I placed 3rd with a time of 1:30:08... only 12 minutes behind 1st. The other two guys ahead of me are cyclocross racers and are also completely sponsored so I was pretty stoked with my result. Looking forward to the next race in about a month!

Back from orientation...

Hey all, I spent my whole day up in Bellingham for the WWU admitted students orientation day. It was pretty cool, I really love the campus up there, nice and out-doorsy. Basically just took another campus tour then I sat through two different class overview lectures, CBE (College of business and economics) which is what I will most like major in, and then later Psych♥ There will definitely be a minor degree in this at least. I paid my official "I will go to your school" fee last night so it's 100% official, Im Bellingham bound! And then on the way home from the days events I stopped in Marysville to purchase my new college-commuter bike from a guy named Ben. Meet the SE, full rigid, steel framed, single speed, 29er, machine that will carry me to all of my classes, appointments, work and of course just playing around.... and what a pretty color too :)

9 months...

Today marked the last day of my work with Vans. It has been exactly 9 months to the day working with the team and it has definitely been super fun and a great introduction to the working world. I will be going up to WWU tomorrow and then I have a bike race on Sunday, expect some good posts! And next week work officially begins at Bicycles West!!! Needless to say Im super stoked on it! To hold yall over, here is yet another after-ride picture of myself getting home today after enjoying the brilliant, radiant, hot, sunshine here in the pacific north west!

Procrastination

Yeah.... i know.... I procrastinated again. Basically I've decided that no matter how determined I stay, my work load is just so insanely frigging high right now that Im not going to be able to keep any ultra constant posting going on.... although i can promise some good posts this weekend, and possibly even some good action photos ;) Stay tuned for that. And in other news, I will only be with the Vans team for another couple days before I officially transition to Bicycles West as a full part time employee ;)

Sorry for being such a crappy blogger recently. I promise you it will get better <3

Awesome ride!!!

Again, I've been slacking on the posting. Well I am on a slight break now... the final countdown if you will. I have completed all of my IA's for school and now have a 1.5 month study sesh before exams!!!! So get pumped! Bike race coming up on the 3rd of April, getting the school team together! WOOT. And going to start working over at bicycles west in the next couple weeks. Big things are a happening!

Anyway here are some aftermath pictures from a ride last week, I went out and tested this beautiful Trek Remedy 8. Handled awesomely over all the wet and muddy roots and rocks, climbed well, and descended ever better. All in all i would give it a 4 out of 5

Boy do I love me my muddy rides! And also my beautiful girlfriend ;)

HOUSE!

Sorry for the long time between posts, school is really starting to heat up and the work load is getting even more intense. Who know that was possible?? Anyway, My friend and I decided today in art class, that we are going to build a legit house! Only catch is; its only going to have 9 square feet of interior space. One wall will just be a door and the adjacent wall will be a cut out "window" and exterior counter. We are still in the planning processes but here is a sneak preview of one of my beginning schematic sketches...
