Merry christmas och God Jul!

Hey everyone. Just though i would give a quick post on this lovely christmas day. Hope everyone is and/or has been enjoying their holidays. My christmas was yesterday as im swedish and celebrate christmas on the 24th. I got a few things like shoes, pants and a beanie i knew i was getting. Also i got my snowboard helmet although ive already used it at the beginning of the month :P The one surprise gift i got that i didnt know for sure if i was getting was a single ring Race Face DH crankset!! SICK. Whenever it arrives ill upload some pictures but for today im too lazy to upload anything ;)

Also im starting to get my bags out to pack for my trip to sweden and germany! SCOREEEE

Cant wait to see my beautiful amazing girlfriend soon :)

Shoes♥

So stoked!! I got my new Vans mountain editions from UPS today and omg I haven't taken them off since I've had them!! SOOOOOO comfortable and sooooo warm. :D



As you can see in the picture they are similar to the halfcab in build, but a little bit more rise on the ankle. Some cool features on this is the usage of a fully gusseted tongue which repels all kinds of water and dirt from entering my shoe. My fav, the brushed pig leather for weather protection (plus it adds a super sick look to the shoe). And the entire shoe is covered in 3m's scotchguard to, you guessed it, repel water and snow!!!

The laces on these bad boys are waxed which adds to the looks a little bit and are supposedly water proof, not that it really makes a difference. You get a super cool, but ultimately functionless, velcro strap on the toe of the laces which i think looks pretty cool which is weird because usually i hate velcro :P


And in this picture above you can see the hunter orange sole. The most notable thing is that the classic waffle patterned sole has been reversed on these to add to the snow title. Each waffle "hole" has been flipped and is now a little "cone" if you will which adds to the shoes ground feel and grip. Also this design will prevent snow and mud from getting all clogged up in the sole when it's really nasty out.

Well there you have it, brown and orange Mountain editions. They are mine!!! >:D

Today i finally did the unthinkable... I completed covering the back of my laptop in bike stickers. It's taken me a couple years to assemble sick bike only stickers that are worthy by my standards to go on the ol laptop. Im pretty satisfied with the final product. What do yall think?

STG!

What's STG? It of course stands for, 'Shredding The Gnar!" Which is what John, Erica and Myself did back on december 5th. For early season conditions it was pretty decent, nothing spectacular but still fun. First time riding my new set-up and it hooked up really well. Looking forward to some more powder later on in the season hopefully!

Ugh i hate being sick... It happens once a year for me. And i hate it. Came home early from school and have now decided that i need to blog since its been about two weeks since my last post. Sorry people ♥

Spray painting

This is a speed painting i did in art this morning with some spray paint. Basically just used rip paper to get some edges on the "mountains" and a bottle cap to get that red circle above to left mountain. Took me about 1 min to make this. Super basic. But oh so fun ;)

Life Cycles recap.

Oh my gosh. I can die happy now after seeing that movie. IT WAS EPIC! So basically i woke up this morning and it began to snow which was rad. Then around 12 or so my dad and i left for the small town of North Bend where the movie would premiere. We got there around 1 and just chilled around the town, got some lunch at the North Bend Bar and Grill which was pretty good. Then around 3.30 we went inside the theater and just hung out with some of the dirt corp riders. They had done some snow DH before coming there and were rocking some pretty sick bikes (see below)


A super nice Commencal Supreme with a fresh dusting of snow.


And a nice Session 88, also fresh out of the snowy trails.

So before the movie there was a huge raffle of tons of bike stuff from gloves, helmets and jerseys to energy bars to forks and wheels. It was sick. I ended up winning a pair of Fox riding gloves which i gave to my sister, a diamondback tee, and 10 boxes of Clif Bars. a $240 value!!! WIN!

Im soooooooooooo stoked for this movie to come out. Im going to the premiere tomorrow night down by Snoqualmie. Its going to be soooo SICK!!!! I've been waiting for this to come out for the last two years and i cant believe i finally get to see it tomorrow >:D
